Mind Blowing Guinness-Infused Recipes

With St. Patrick's Day coming up, we only thought it was fitting to round up some insanely amazing recipes using our favorite Irish beer, Guinness. Now these aren't any average recipes. Think along the lines of seriously mind blowing. Seriously.

Would you ever think to put beer in your chocolate pie? What about in your stew or gravy? This gallery will make you rethink many of your recipes to see how you can incorporate Guinness, or any beer for that matter.

  • You can enjoy Guinness alone of course, but why not give it a whirl with a dollop of coffee ice cream, chocolate syrup, salted peanut and whipped cream? Say what!

  • If you are looking for a tender, juicy rib recipe where the meat literally falls off the bone, this one is for you. Slow roasted with Guinness, a beef broth and crushed tomatoes, this hearty recipe will definitely leave your stomach wanting more.

  • Who doesn't love a good chocolate cake? This one is made with only a few ingredients and layered on top of each other with berries in between. A thick chocolate ganache covers the top and sides for an extra chocolate kick.

  • Would a sweet and salty chocolate pie with marshmallow meringue tickle your fancy? What about if that mallow was infused with Guinness? The pretzel crust had me at hello, but top that with beer and chocolate flavored pudding and a toasted Guinness marshmallow meringue and you've definitely got my attention.

  • For all you non-Canadians (that includes me), poutine is a dish from Quebec that is made with french fries, gravy and cheese. Kind of like our version of disco fries in the states. This version might be one of my favorites that I have seen because the gravy is made with Guinness.

  • We've had our fair share of chocolate cupcakes, but this one takes the cake. A Guinness-infused chocolate cupcake with Nutella cream cheese frosting topped with a malted milk ball. The combination of the dark ale and Nutella could not be more perfect.

  • If you have never tried adding beer to your fondue, you have seriously been missing out. If you find a good aged cheddar, this recipe will pair nicely mixed with a bottle of Guinness.

  • Let this soak into your brain: Guinness. Vanilla. Caramel. Maple. Those are the main ingredients that make up this mind blowing caramel sauce. I cannot even express to you how many desserts I would attempt to eat this with.

  • The perfect amount of Guinness, potatoes and beef go into the making of this hearty stew. The combining flavors and beer make the beef insanely tender. It's the perfect way to warm up and celebrate St. Patrick's Day.

  • This isn't your average chocolate ice cream. It's creamed together with a bottle of Guinness Ale and a package of Starbucks hot chocolate mix. I'd love to try it with some caramel drizzled on top too!
