Mother's Day Brunch Champagne Mimosa Bar + FREE Printables

For mother’s day this year, a champagne or mimosa bar was the perfect accompaniment to brunch. Champagne bars are extremely easy to set up and people just love them at parties. To make your champagne

To set up a Mimosa Champagne Bar, you will need:

  • Several bottles of dry champagne
  • Ice bucket to keep champagne cold
  • Cloth napkin
  • At least two champagne mixers
  • Champagne glasses
  • Cocktail napkins
  • Signs to label your champagne bar, like these free printables

And of course, a pretty centerpiece like this Floral Embrace arrangement from 1-800-Flowers to complete your display!

Dry champagne—usually brut—is best to use with fruity mixers as the fruit has so much natural sugar in it, the drink will be overly sweet if you use something like a spumante.

A nice ice bucket to keep the corked champagne in is always a nice touch; don’t forget to wrap the neck of the bottle in a cloth napkin to catch any drips!

So why do people love champagne bars? Aside from the champagne part, there is a level of do-it-yourself interactivity that makes things more interesting and it becomes a party activity.

When you put out a few mixers on your champagne bar, all the guests have to do is pour a bit of mixer into the bottom of their glass and top with a bit of bubbly. Of course, if you’re ever in doubt, you can always put out a sign like this free printable Burlap and Butterflies sign with directions on what to do at the champagne bar!

Homemade Fruit Puree Mixers

Mixers are simple—juices or juices combined with liqueurs make the perfect pairing for champagne. Here are two that are fantastic accompaniments with brunch:

Berry Mixer Recipe:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • ½ cup cherry brandy

Place strawberries, raspberries and cherry brandy in a blender. Puree until smooth.

Tropical Flower Mixer Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 3/4 cup pineapple juice
  • Ingredient 3

Combine juices and serve.
