DIY Vintage-Themed Advice Table
Set up an advice table for guests to share wise words with the happy couple - we've got the how to for creating this unique bridal shower idea.
If you’re throwing a shower with an old-time feel, don’t let all of that good family advice go to waste. Set up a station where guests can share words of wisdom or warm wishes for the bride-to-be. Use vintage finds in new way, and incorporate newer items with an older feel.
To arrange this table, I used a frame with chicken wire insert as the gathering spot for the written notes. Nothing says “vintage” quite like chicken wire! Then, I used mini clothespins to hold tags that the guests can write on.
These clothespins are dressed up with washi tape in colors that match the party.
Place a framed sign so guests know what to do at the activity station. We found a new fabric pin board frame that has a vintage-style scroll design. The new and old items work perfectly together.
Floral frogs from decades past get a new life as a pencil caddy, and a sign holder. Hunt your local thrift shop and flea markets to find treasures like these. They add instant authenticity to your vintage shower design.
