DIY Easter Invitation Place Setting Ideas

Sending out a beautiful Easter invitation is a great place to start for your Easter brunch, but did you know you can create beautiful one-of-a-kind place settings with some extra invitations and some simple craft supplies?

When I send out party invitations, I always like to order a few extra to keep for extra table decor and party inspiration. For my Easter brunch, I chose this beautiful Easter Egg Topiary Invitation from FineStationery.com. The illustration on the invitation provided inspiration for my DIY topiaries, and actually made for some creative place settings.

With a few easy steps, I transformed these extra invitations into stand-out place settings! Get inspired to add that extra "wow" factor to your Easter table, and be sure to hold on to a few extra invitations to keep in frames around your buffet or table.

Supplies
  • Easter brunch invitations, like this one from FineStationery.com
  • Colorful ribbon
  • Cloth napkins
  • Twine
  • Scissors
  • Double-sided tape
  • Small hole punch
  • Tulips, or other spring flowers (optional)
Directions

Cut out the topiary shape on the invitation. If using another Easter invitation, cut out the illustration you want to highlight the most.

If making the flower place setting, punch a small hole in the top of the cut out and loop the twine through. Secure around your flower, place on a colorful napkin and voila!

If making the napkin place setting, simply wrap ribbon around the napkin, and secure the cut-out with double-sided tape. Or, fold the napkin into a shovel shape and wrap ribbon around the "handle" portion. Secure the cutout underneath the ribbon.
