Yummy Peanut Butter Popcorn Recipe

Just because you're not at the ballpark doesn't mean you can't enjoy one of the most delicious treats at the stadium -- popcorn!

I love making popcorn for my guests to enjoy during parties. It’s such a great snack  that is quick and easy and everyone always eats it all up! To make a small, easy twist of popcorn, I made Peanut Butter Popcorn. And what better way to enjoy the World Series than with a big batch of creamy, savory popcorn, especially in a delicious flavor?

All I did was melt smooth peanut butter and pour it over popped popcorn. Then to add some extra sweetness, and to hold the peanut butter in place, I tossed the popcorn-peanut butter mixture in powdered sugar. In just a few minutes I created a sweet and salty snack that everyone will enjoy.

  • 12 cups of popcorn, popped
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Place the peanut butter in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the peanut butter for 60 seconds until it has thinned and become more watery.

Place the popped popcorn in a large bowl and pour the peanut butter on top of the popcorn. Using two spoons, toss the popcorn so the peanut butter coats the popcorn. 

Place the Powdered Sugar and salt in a large Ziploc bag. Pour the popcorn-peanut butter mixture into the bag and tightly close it. Shake the bag until the mixture is completely coated in powdered sugar.

To serve, place the popcorn in a large bowl.

This popcorn lasts in a sealed container/bag for up to 3 days.
