Exotic Cocktail Recipe Video

Without having to do a ton of extra mixing you can add an exotic flair to classic cocktail recipes. All it takes is a bit of creativity.

These two particular cocktail recipes, a Greek-inspired Bloody Mary and Beachy Peach Bellini, are a great idea for summer soirees as well as at celebrations like baby showers, bridal showers or graduation brunches that often take part earlier in the day and highlight their original versions.

Mykonos Bloody Mary

Though a classic Bloody Mary cocktail may not be what comes to mind when you think exotic cocktail, the heightening olive flavor of this version definitely gives our Bloody Mary recipe a touch of Mediterranean flair not found in the original.

Drink Ingredients

1 lime
Old Bay Seasoning
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
1/2 teaspoon white horseradish
4 ounces premium chilled vodka
2 dashes of Tobaso sauce
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
Touch of Kalamata olive juice

Skewer Ingredients

2 Kalamata olives
2 pearl onions
1 piece Pepperoncini

Drink Directions

Coat the rim of the highball glass with lime, then dip it into the old bay seasoning on a plate. Fill the glass with ice.

Add a tablespoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice to the glass along with the white horseradish. Next, pour in your vodka.

Mix in the Tobasco sauce and the Worcestershire sauce. Finally, add a touch of olive juice to top your drink off.

Skewer Directions

To make your skewer garnish, start by skewering 2 Kalamata olives, then add 2 pearl onions and finally end with 1 pepperoncini. Add to the glass and sprinkle fresh oregano all over to finish off.

Peach Bellini

Classic Peach Bellinis are pretty simple - combine a bit of peach puree and sparking wine and you're all set. This version doesn't over complicate what already works so well, but rather heightens the peach flavor and adds a touch of a beachy getaway flavor to the mix with the addition of fresh cherries and peaches.

2 fresh peaches
Chillded, dry champagne
Fresh cheeries for garnish
1 teaspoon peach schnapps

Puree the fresh peaches buy cutting them into halves and removing the pit. Then, put them in a blender and puree for two minutes. Add the peach schnapps to each glass.

Top of the puree mix in the glass with champagne and garnish with cherries.
